Mississippi is ranked third from last in education.
Mississippi has the highest rate of at-risk youth in the country.
In Mississippi, between 10 and 11 percent of children under the age of six are living in poverty with parents who did not complete high school.
Mississippi has the second-highest youth poverty rate in the nation.
Mu Beta Phi is dedicated to helping the youth of Mississippi achieve success. Our program offers a comprehensive educational curriculum, mentorship opportunities, and valuable resources to provide essential tools for growth.
How We Take Action
Mu Beta Phi, a non-profit organization established in 2001, is dedicated to enriching educational opportunities for the youth of Mississippi. Our primary focus is providing specialized programs in Agriculture, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Fine Arts, and Vocational Training. These four pillars form the basis of our mission, which is to offer Mississippi's youth a complete and integrated education.
